Privacy Policy
Effective June 2026 · Applies to goodstewardcompanies.com and the Good Steward family of sites (Consulting, Development, GS Keystone, GS Software Systems, Permits, and Magpie).
We keep this short and plain. We collect only what you choose to send us, we use it only to respond to you and run our sites, and we never sell it.
Who we are
These sites are operated by Good Steward Companies LLC, a California company, and its affiliated brands (together, “Good Steward,” “we,” “us”). This policy covers the public marketing sites in the Good Steward family. Our separate software products and customer accounts are governed by their own agreements.
What we collect
- Information you submit through a contact, inquiry, or application form — typically your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), company, and the message or details you write.
- Limited technical data needed to operate and protect the sites — your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit and block spam submissions, and we use privacy-first, aggregate web analytics that count page views without cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we don’t use third-party marketing or social pixels.
Why we use it
- To read and respond to your message, inquiry, or application.
- To evaluate a possible working relationship if you’ve reached out about one.
- To keep the sites secure, available, and free of spam and abuse.
How it’s stored and shared
Submissions are stored securely on our infrastructure (Cloudflare). We share personal information only with the service providers that help us operate — for example Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Google (so we can read and reply to your message by email). We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send only as long as we need it to respond and to maintain reasonable business records, and then we delete it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
Your choices & California rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve submitted, and you can ask us not to contact you further. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA; because we don’t sell or “share” personal information for cross-context advertising, there’s nothing to opt out of on that front. To make a request, use the contact form on any Good Steward site and tell us what you’d like — we’ll take care of it.
Children
Our sites are for businesses and professionals and are not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
This page describes our actual practices in plain language; it isn’t legal advice. If a specific law requires more detail for your situation, the applicable law controls.
